Do your systems have protocols against allowing flash drives to import information? You may need a POAM to reach your tech goals. POAM is an acronym for Plan of Action and Milestones. This can be a very useful thing to use when analyzing and improving your security.

Not Educating

Perhaps the biggest mistake of all is assuming that your employees understand the principles of cybersafety. Employee ignorance and negligence can be the kryptonite that cripples even the best security systems. You need to teach your employees about common tactics that hackers will use like social engineering and typosquatting to gain access to company systems.
